“ | Once I'm done with you I'll enter reality. Leave havoc in my wake. Spread despair, misery. You've opened the gate, I'll be free. Torment soon arrives and I'll reap. | „ |
~ GB's plan to escape into reality and wreak havoc. |
GB is the main antagonist of Fiepie's lyrical cover of Golden Land from Mario's Madness.
He's a malicious entity who takes the form of Mario, which also tries to lure people into playing his game so he can kill them, with his ultimate goal being to breach reality and spread misery and death into the real world.
He was voiced by LukeGoji.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- For an unknown amount of time, he would take the form of Mario in order to lure people into playing his game so he could kill them.
- When Boyfriend and Girlfriend enter his realm, he soon begins to gloat about how they were his latest victims and how they would be tortured for all of eternity, listing various ways he'd do so with sadistic glee.
- He revealed his ultimate goal was to break into reality so he could spread despair and misery, and now that Boyfriend was they key to his freedom, he would "reap", heavily implying he would slaughter many, if not everyone on the real world.
- He mocked both Boyfriend and Girlfriend for falling for his trap and never being able to escape, planning to hang Boyfriend in strings until his body decayed.
- In the end, GB seemingly succeeds in trapping both Girlfriend and Boyfriend in his realm, with him saying he's ensured neither of them can get in his way, making him a karma-houdini.
- While we never get to see many of his previous or planned victims, his intentions are still very clear, as he wishes to slaughter many of the people in the real world, additionally, in the song he goes into detail about how he'd torture Boyfriend and Girlfriend, giving him enough characterization.
- While his original counterpart has a freudian excuse of being tortured by a video game developer, this version of GB doesn't have his tragedy mentioned, leaving it ambigious if he has such a tragedy to begin with.
