Freddy Krueger is the lead antagonist in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Even before his death, he was a sadistic pervert who targeted children. After being burned alive by the parents of his victims, he returned as a vengeful ghost that had the ability to enter and manipulate dreams. To get revenge on the parents that burned him, he kills their children in sevelary sadistic ways in their dreams.
