Freddy Fazbear is the eponymous main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's series created by AIEchidna, co-written with Cypris and FathomsBelow68, being the main antagonist of Withered, Refurbished, and Finale, a minor antagonist of Afton, and an unseen antagonist in Springlocked.
He is a big, bipedal animatronic bear that guises during the day as a friendly, loveable companion, but becomes a sadistic, bloodthirsty murderer at night, revealing his true colors to the world and flatout abandoning the guise in later installments.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Overall, unlike his canon counterpart, which was tragic and an anti-villain who had a fair reason to murder, this version of Freddy is an absolute sadist that takes nothing but joy in watching the world snap and bend to his whim, proving himself several times to be even more vile than William Afton in some regard.
- Michael squeaking Freddy's nose and the latter's embarrassment over it isn't considered a mitigating factor as the moment was only played for a split second and in-universe, Freddy would only become more feral, murderous and pissed, as seen in Refurbished.
- He shows himself to pretend to like children, but once the kids are gone, he comments on how he views kids as simply meatheads, not to mentions he attempts to murder the main cast in Finale and succeeds in killing the youngest one.
- In 1985, he killed a night guard and despite Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Sparky's horror and disgust, he felt a sick, twisted kick from it. This would lead to a killing spree of dozens of night guards simply for Freddy's pleasure pleasure of murder, with him also forcing Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Sparky into the game he had started
- Killed Jeremy using a springlock suit, which is a painful way to go, also indirectly causing Jeremy to possess the Shadow Bonnie suit.
- Repeatedly taunted Michael over the death of Evan, as well as the fact that fighting the bear was meaningless.
- Convinced the toys, much like the originals, that he was their friend, before manipulating Mangle into causing the Bite of 87', which also directly got the toy animatronics (who were possessed by the Missing Children) scrapped.
- He would continue his killing spree of night guards at the 1993 location.
- In Five Nights at Freddy's: Beginnings (the prequel novel), it's revealed that Freddy had abused Sparky the Dog plenty of times, it peaking in 1992 when Sparky would finally fight back, to end Freddy's reign. Freddy would trick Sparky into believing he redeemed himself, only to torture and kill Sparky in cold blood, despite the dog saying that Freddy was still his friend.
- Was overall very abusive toward Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy in the 90s onward, with implications and later confirmation he's threatened their lives several times, which gave them a massive fear of defying Freddy's orders.
- While he would leave Michael alone after 6 AM in Withered and Refurbished, this was out of the desire to retain his ego, as he still needed to keep up his day guise and he was clearly shown to be furious doing so, going so far to even cheat after Night 6.
- After catching Kyle, he would torture and malnourish the Phone Guy for a week, until finally murdering him on Night 3 of Michael's shift.
- Crushed Bonnie's muzzle and broke it, due to Bonnie standing up for himself.
- Got Michael framed for the murder of Kyle, which got Michael arrested for over a decade.
- Attempting to murder the group of teenagers that snuck into the building, and succeeding in killing Aaron (who was a child), which causes Tracy to have a breakdown. Freddy then would lean down to Tracy's level and tell her that her lack of determination was pitiful, which would cause Tracy to snap, making her later fight with Nightmare harder.
- Implied through his dialogue, "Not enough", that he'd continue to make more people suffer for his own pleasure no matter the cost.
- As he and Michael fought, he implied that he was not only gonna make Michael's death painful, but also murder Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy (with arguably the same amount of pain as Michael) for defying him.
- Even in his final moments, he still retained his sole pride and tried to yell at Nightmare before being killed off.
