~ Fouchet to Maxine Logan before killing her. |
Antoine Fouchet, otherwise known as Fouchet, is the main antagonist of the 1995 film Bad Boys, the first installment of the Bad Boys film series.
He is a French drug kingpin who runs his drug cartel in Miami, Florida. When he kills one of his henchmen for carelessly nearly exposing him by using drugs he had recently stolen, he discovers that a hooker named Julie Mott has witnessed him, leading him to set himself on hunting down Julie and whoever tries to help. He is also the boss of Casper and Ferguson.
He was portrayed by Tchéky Karyo.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Stole $100 million of seized mafia heroin from the Miami Police Department Headquarters' evidence room, shot one of his men, dressed as a cop, so his corpse could serve as a diversion. He also had a night security guard tranquilized.
- Blackmailed a police secretary named Francine (an ex-girlfriend of his accomplice Eddie Dominguez) in giving him narcotics information by taking nude photos of her and threatening to post them at her kids' school.
- Having bought the air ventilation plans from Manuel Arrona, Fouchet and his men brutally kill him in his own home just to leave no traces.
- Shot Maxine Logan to death upon realizing that she worked as a police informant, even though she modeled her dress for him.
- Shot his accomplice Eddie Dominguez in the leg for his stupidity in throwing a party with Max just one day after the heroin robbery before ordering Casper and Ferguson to kill him.
- Upon seeing that Julie Mott, Max's fellow escort, witnessed the whole incident, he sent his henchmen after her to kill her in her apartment, with his henchmen endangering many other civilians as his men open fire on a crowded bar.
- Sent one of his own men to bludgeon Max's boss Lois Fields to death with a huge hammer.
- Sent his men to the lobby of Mike Lowrey's apartment to ransack it in a shootout with Lowrey and Marcus Bennet before kidnapping Julie. This act almost killed Marcus' wife Theresa in the process, which drove Marcus angry.
- Killed his chemistry team for supposedly delaying his schedule before making a phone call to the cops, gloating upon his act of murdering his chemistry team and that he'll do the same to Julie if they don't back down against him and his men.
- Despite that, he revealed he is still going to kill her even after the deal goes through, prompting Marcus and Mike to go after him to stop him.
- When the Detectives and the rest of the police showed up during one of his drug deals to rescue Julie and kill his men, he shot dead the powerful drug lord who was negotiating with him, triggering a shootout that left many dead while Fouchet made a run in his car, leaving Casper, Ferguson and the rest of his henchmen to die.
- Provoked Mike to kill him so he could avenge Max's death once Mike shot him in the leg. Even after Mike spared him, he still pulled out his handgun to shoot Marcus behind his back, leading Mike to fatally shoot him.
- Due to his lack of comedic moments and redeeming qualities, Fouchet definitely stands out as the worst criminal Mike and Marcus ever faced in the series. While his successors Johnny Tapia and Isabel Aretas, the main antagonists of the next two sequels, care for their children, Fouchet only cares for himself, and has no redeeming qualities or remorse for his actions.
- To top it off with James McGrath, the main antagonist of the latest film, Fouchet doesn’t have any tragedy occur as an excuse for his actions.
