What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Terrorized the woods by spreading "terror and death" all over the animals and it is heavily implied that he killed at least dozens of animals prior to the film.
- Murders Oliver's parents and destroys six of their newborn eggs, later taunting Oliver about the incident and making him guilty of mass infanticide.
- Murders Olivia's parents and Fredrick and Ingolf's mom.
- Tries numerous times to kill Oliver and Olivia over the course of the film for nothing than sheer sadism and defying his "rule" despite them being infants.
- Murders Betty out of spite when she tears out his right eye.
- Abuses and traumatizes Dove throughout the movie, such as slicing her chest when she tries to resign from her position as his spy.
- Despite being an animal, he shows a clear moral agency through his acts of sadism and abuse, making him more then just a generic predator.
