Evil Buzz Lightyear, also known as Evil Buzz, is a minor antagonist in the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series.
He is an alternate reality version of the heroic Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear. However, unlike the original Buzz, Evil Buzz comes from an alternate reality where he took over his galaxy and once he becomes aware of the main reality thanks to Emperor Zurg, he decides help the former conquer his universe as well.
Like the original Buzz, he was voiced by Patrick Warburton.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Although he doesn't have as much screen time as NOS-4-A2, he makes up for it with the evil deeds he does during that screen time and the fact that he has a far higher kill count having destroyed multiple planets.
- In his universe, he manages to rule the extent of space as well as the entire universe itself, having caused the deaths of billions from destroying multiple planets, like Capital Planet and Tangela, Mira’s homeworld.
- He directly killed Mira's father using his gun, and having his Booster's planet conquered and annihilated as well.
- It’s implied that he also killed Booster's parents.
- He destroyed Star Command.
- He enslaved many people in his universe.
- His actions were so bad that he made his universe's Zurg retire from villainy and get a job as a waiter at Cosmos', constantly mocking the latter that he didn't have what it takes to do greater evil.
- He threatened to obliterate the main Zurg with his laser gun if he dares touch him again.
- He kidnaps his good counterpart from the main universe by blowing up his house and taking him captive in the alternate universe.
- He destroys the main universe's Star Command just like how he destroyed his universe's Star Command.
- When Mira, XR, and Booster captured him and intended to bring him back to 42, he faked being brainwashed in order to manipulate them before breaking free.
- When he was going to blow up Zurg's ship to destroy Star Command, he was also going to kill everyone in Zurg's ship, which disgusted even Zurg himself. Evil Buzz also threatened him with a laser gun when he argued with him.
- He only lets his good counterpart into the escape pod for pragmatic reasons, like refusing to surrender and be arrested.
- During his fight with his good counterpart, he attempted to blast him and refused to surrender.
- He has Gravitina help him make sunquakes to kill billions out of revenge on Team Lightyear for making him lose control of his universe. It also shown that he came close to kill some of the civilians and destroyed their planets through these sunquakes.
- His "love" for Gravitina was fake and he was only manipulating her desire for his own gain and revenge and left her to die, with no remorse over this act.
- While he has a few comedic moments, he's still taken completely seriously in-universe, so therefore, they don't detract from his heinousness.

- Evil Buzz Lightyear is, alongside Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear, NOS-4-A2 and One-Eyed Bart one of four Toy Story villains to be Pure Evil.
- Since he is Pure Evil, Evil Buzz serves a foil to the Buzz Lightyear from the main universe, who is Pure Good.
