You see, the old Captain 3, Cassie Emerald....she was held up as a goddess figure...sacrificed her life to save the people...however that's not the whole story. The truth is she didn't sacrificed herself, she also sacrificed the other half of people in the Splatlands, which included her very own Agent 10! She left them to die! Shot some in the legs so they can be slowed down and be fed to those....THINGS! All so she can save others! I am disappointed that they hid this truth. They believed that you, as citizens! Shouldn't have known! It's disappointing how our government, our people who were sworn to protect us, decided to just...lie about it, cover it up, hold this....the MURDERER up on a pedestal! And it goes far beyond that! My friend, my ally Odalia, a brilliant young lady was MISSING when she tried to tell the world about the truth! It was not a coincidence! Let me ask you citizens. Inkopolis and Octo Valley. Who has been there when we needed you most? After Commander Tartar destroyed and ripped apart families and destroyed homes, who was there to provide for you when the sad sack of the mayor was laying on his ass! Who was there, attempting to create inventions to better the lives of us and to fight against our own bodies issues!? Who was there as a friend....a friend to the people? It was me. I helped all of you because the world has beaten down on me for YEARS! And I will not let it happen to any of you! Which is why my plan will be in action, commencing very shortly and after it is done, I have a vision of...a new land. A new hope. Where....Inklings....and Octolings live peace and peace with...HUMANITY! |

Estefa Dora, known before as Raven Onyx is a major antagonist in the Culture of The Past Trilogy, serving as one of the two main antagonists of Culture of The Past 1 (Alongside Lewis Coltrane) and a posthumous antagonist of the rest of the series He is shown to be an eccentric and well meaning scientist, entrepreneur and creator the Water Block. He is later revealed to be a Inktoling who despised the current life there was due to how he was treated as a child, and despised Inklings and Octolings, and wishes to help Inktolings by putting Inklings and Octolings back in the water.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- While he had a tragic past, being an orphan and abused by Inklings and Octolings for being an Inktoling, he goes way beyond any excuse he had when he decided to try and trap all the Inklings and Octolings into fate worse than death. It was also pointed out by Misa that he already had a good life being a businessman, but still decided to continue being evil.
- In City Slickers, while Isabella does admit that, if discrimination within Inktolings never happened, Estefa Dora wouldn’t have been evil and that the discrimination of Inktolings did cause him to be who he is, they emphasis that it does not justify anything he did, as he became his own worst enemy by letting his spite get to him even after he got what he wanted, further enforcing the subverted excuse.
- Faked his death by making a car crash, causing the deaths of two peoples.
- When Estefa rose the ranks in Inkopolis as an Entrepreneur, he only did charity work and good deeds to civilians in order to gain their trust and pragmatism.
- He payed Mayor Ridley to become a corrupt Mayor and pass horrible laws into Inkopolis, including a gay marriage ban, embezzling the money, restricting Octolings immigration and sent 40 people outside into the splatlands, causing the death of 25 people, including Sabrina, Eddie’s sister, Lyra’s mom and dad, and Cassie Emerald, and also amusing Freddie into a cold hearted assassin. And then he threw Ridley under the bus, leaving him in prison.
- Worked with Gabbie, The Lovers, Lewis Coltrane, Eddie Moss, Lyra, and The Twins in order to ruin the respect and faith Inkopolis and Octo Valley has with Claudia, Sebastian and The Splatoon. He had Gabbie and Lewis work with the experimenting and had Eddie, The Lovers, and Lyra on the business angle.
- Had The Twins record Claudia and Sebastion’s deal about the illegal voting to keep Eddie from getting elected, in an attempt to get their public image ruined and them arrested.
- Planned to use his product of Water Block and flood Inkopolis, Octo Valley and the other cities in order to mutate Inklings and Octolings back into Squids and Octopus’ forms, keeping them in the water in an attempt to make Inktolings dominate. It’s confirmed by Lewis that Inklings and Octolings can think while still in their forms, which leads to a FWTD. This would have also caused many Inktoling to get injured or even killed by the water, by either dissolving or drowning.
- Showed Oblia and the other members his plan by shoving an Inkling and Octolings into a tank and making them transform into an Squid and Octopus, in which he later keeps in a tank.
- When Oblia lashes out at him, he murders her by shoving her into water and making her dissolved while sadistically taunting her.
- He blew up the Cuddlefish Cabin in order to rescue Freddie and kidnaps Lilly and Misa.
- When seeing Misa is a Inktoling, brutally murders Lilly in cold blood in front of Misa by slitting her neck.
- Forcibly took over the Off The Hook! Building, having Marina be brainwashed and knocking Pearl out while the others hold everyone in hostage while he forcibly took over broadcasting.
- During his live announcement, manipulated the crowd in an attempt to lure them into a security and fully distrust the Splatoon, and he revealed the secret about Cassie’ leaving people to die and the Splatoon covering it up, all to create a large riot which would lead to an easier way to flood the cities.
- When Misa and the others rehijacked the broadcast and ended it, Estefa left his group into the building when he went back to his building, planning on flooding the entire place himself, while leaving all of his group to die by getting dissolve or drown.
- When the three Octolings soldiers he ordered to flood the cities hesitate, he murdered the quickly before trying to flood the cities.
- While he reveals his motivations and goals to Misa, he beats them to a pulp with a cane and tries to kill them by strangling them and drowning them, while insulting them, saying they aren’t really an Inktoling due to having family and friends.
- Even when he said he’ll bring humans back, admits he’ll even kill them all if they don’t accept Inktolings and him, showing he’ll be fine with geocoding humans and truly doesn’t care for them.
- When Misa goes back to try and save Estefa from the water hitting him, he pulls them in with him in an attempt to kill the both of them.
- Even after his death, his actions have irreversible effects, causing destruction and damage to Octo Valley and Inkopolis and also causing a massive distrust to the citizens when it comes to the Splatoon, Sebastian and Claudia.
- Overall, Estefa is a cold hearted, ruthless and extremely petty person who negates any sympathy in order to get revenge. While he does say he has noble goals, not wanting Inktolings to be discriminated and says to care for them, he shows an almost hypocritical and survival of the fittest way of his goals, as he was ok with Inktoling getting killed if he flooded the cities, and as pointed out by Misa, instead of doing the elaborate plot, Estefa could have used his wealth and influence to make Inktoling lives better, and only did it to boost his ego, and not out of the care for his race.
