“ | Today you awake to a world in the grip of chaos and corruption. I will restore order, I will retake what is mine. I will crush any idea of freedom. I will slaughter without mercy. I will conquer without compassion. I will now lead you past the Great Wall. | „ |

The Dragon Emperor (real name: Qin Han), commonly referred to as Emperor Han, is the main antagonist of the 2008 feature film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the third and final installment of The Mummy trilogy.
He was an oppressive emperor who, after becoming encased in a terracotta soldier when he died, seemingly gained immortality and attempted to take over China and the rest of the world. Resurrected by General Yang, he decided to resume his world-conquering conquest, encountering the O'Connell family in the process.
He was portrayed by Jet Li, who also played Gabriel Yulaw in The One.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He conquered many territories in China, massacring many innocents in his path and not showing any remorse for his actions. While there were survivors of his atrocities, he made them as slaves who later built the Great Wall and filled them with his dead victims, including his servants.
- He developed a certain lust for the witch Zi Yuan, as she was vital to reading the Oracles Bone's text, which would make him immortal. To that point, he forbid anyone from touching Zi Yuan, but upon discovering that his best friend General Ming Guo fell in love with Zi, he ruthlessly betrayed Zi by ordering Ming's execution from the horses and stabbed her with his dagger. This provoked an angry Zi to flee after she cursed him and his army to become terracotta stone warriors for centuries.
- Had Zi decided to stay with Han, he would've executed Ming regardless, hence her prior response to Han that made him prove her right.
- He cheated his own death by encasing himself as one of his terracotta warrior statues. When he was resurrected by a loyal General Yang, he warned the latter to maintain his loyalty or he will also perish like Ming.
- Upon escaping with Yang, he callously killed Professor Roger Wilson by decapitating his head, despite that Wilson aided Yang in bringing him back to life.
- After tracking down Zi in her home in and invading Shangri-La, he bathed himself in Shangri-La's mystical waters to render himself immortal before he kidnapped Zi's daughter, Lin (who was fathered by Ming), intending to make her his eternal slave not just out of spite against Ming and Zi, but also out of lust due to her profound beauty.
- He used his newfound powers after returning back to China, to revive his Terracotta army so that they can cross the Great Wall and dominate the world while executing innocent millions.
- When Zi sacrificed her and Lin's immortality to revive Ming and all of the people who perished in his wrath to fight back against his army, he sadistically and fatally wounded Zi, leaving her to die in cold blood after a brief fight.
- He tried to use his newfound powers to stop Ming and his army from attacking his, ultimately forcing Rick and Alex O'Connell to finish him off by fatally stabbing him in the heart with his own mystical dagger given by Zi before she died.
