What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Poisoned his own father so he would succeed him as the head of House Beoulve.
- Used his "friend" Larg for his connections and influence from having Larg's nephew on the throne.
- Plotted to have Larg eventually killed to secure House Beoulve's power over Ivalice.
- Orchestrated the war in Ivalice, leading to the creation of the Corpse Brigade in retaliation.
- Gave the order to have Marquis Elmdore kidnapped.
- Manipulated his half-brother Ramza to destroy the Corpse Brigade after implicating them for the Marquis' kidnapping.
- Gave the order to have Delita's sister kidnapped; the rescue mission ended with her death, who was killed by Argus with Dycedarg's blessing.
- Hired Gaffgarion to kidnap Princess Ovalia, and framed the Order of the Southern Sky for the crime, allowing the Northern Sky to declare war against their rivals.
- Ordered Gaffgarion to kill his half-brother Ramza if he got in the way of his schemes.
- Murdered Larg and ordered his brother Zalbaag to implicate the Southern Sky in his death.
- Attempted to kill Zalbaag and Ramza once the former teamed up with the latter to stop Dycedarg's treachery.
- Accepted the Zodiac stone believing he could use its power to build his won, unaware (albeit also unconcerned) of the effects the demonic artifact would have on the world.
Trivia[]
- Dycedarg Beoulve is the only Final Fantasy Pure Evil villain to come from the Tactics subseries as well as the Ivalice Alliance subseries.
