Vlad III Dracula mainly know as Count Dracula, or only by Dracula, is the main antagonist of the 2023 comedy-horror film Renfield which acts as a sequel continuity were he was portrayed by the late Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula (Universal classics) in Dracula.
In Renfield he was portrayed by Nicolas Cage, who also portrayed Longlegs from the film of the same name.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Although the film is a black comedy, and Dracula himself is very hammy due to Nicholas Cage's acting, he is still taken very seriously; especially his killings and his relationship with Renfield being non-comedically depicted as that of a narcissist and his victim.
- All of his crimes from Count Dracula (Universal classics) are here.
- He murdered hunters and a priest in a sadistic manner.
- He and Renfield have been around the world for dozens of years murdering several innocent people.
- He constantly abused and mistreated Renfield severely, physically and mentally. For example:
- He forced Renfield to go after several innocent people such as bus full of cheerleaders, and nuns.
- He sliced Renfield’s gut open that was already half gutted open by Apache Joe for suggesting they go back to a normal life.
- He showed Renfield his plans to conquer the world which would kill millions to thousands of innocent people such for his own sadistic pleasure.
- He told Renfield that all that mattered was his needs.
- He would often manipulate Reinfield into staying under his service, claiming to be his only friend when in reality, he doesn't care about him at all.
- He horrifically murdered Teddy Lobo’s men who went to the abandoned motel he and Renfield were hiding at.
- He would have killed Teddy had he not mentioned Renfield.
- He went back to the apartment Renfield is living at and insulted him even bringing up Renfield’s wife and daughter.
- He murdered Renfield’s support group friends at the LiveSpring Church to spite Renfield, which lead to New Orleans Police to arrest him.
- He turned Teddy Lobo and his gang into Familiars like Renfield.
- He told Rebecca if she joined him he would bring back her sister.
- He tried to kill Rebecca and Renfield when they tried to kill him.
