~ Dr. Myuu

Dr. Myuu is the secondary antagonist of the anime-only sequel series Dragon Ball GT. Despite being one of the main villains of the series, he never fought Goku or any of the protagonists for that matter. Instead, he used his intelligence to create other villains to fight the heroes.

He was voiced by the late Kazuyuki Sogabe in Japanese, Duncan Brannan in FUNimation's English dub, and Dave Petitt in Blue Water's English dub.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He wiped out a civilization using his army of Machine Mutants.
  • His ultimate goal is to conquer the galaxy and convert all life into artificial beings.
  • He destroys many of his sapient creations for any defects, including speech problems.
  • He tasked Dolltaki with trapping many beings in the body of Luud so they could be used to empower Baby. This would leave the victims floating in a black void for the rest of their lives. This is explicitly stated in universe to be a fate worse than death.
  • When Dolltaki refuses to use Pan to empower Luud, Myuu imprisons Dolltaki inside Luud as well. When Luud is destroyed, Myuu has Dolltaki killed by General RIlldo for disobedience and failure, despite having allegedly raised Dolltaki like a son.
  • He plans to vivisect Goku, Pan and Trunks to siphon their energy to empower Baby.
  • He works with Gero to open a portal from Hell to Earth, allowing the many villains of Hell to escape to Earth and rampage about, killing many people, including Krillin.
  • He and Gero brainwash Android 17 and force him to merge with Hell Fighter 17, keeping Android 17 trapped inside the body of the resulting Super 17, still aware in an And I Must Scream state.
  • He betrays Gero and has Super 17 eliminate him, planning to conquer the galaxy alone.
  • He is in a way responsible for all of the conflict in the show.
  • While he was converted from an organic lifeform into an artificial being and programmed to serve Baby, he grew beyond his programming and set out on his own agenda to conquer the galaxy, coming to believe Baby was an experiment he was working on. Even after his death, he continues to pursue his goal of galactic conquest, this time without utilizing Baby. This proves he has moral agency.

Trivia[]

  • Dr. Myuu is the first and only Pure Evil villain to appear exclusively from Dragon Ball GT. In addition, he is also the only Dragon Ball Pure Evil as a whole to not originate from the manga series, making him the only Pure Evil villain from Dragon Ball to be completely exclusive to the anime.
