“ | If you're reading this, then you're left with a decision. What did you think was going to happen, throwing the bodies of anomalies into that pit? Did you think that their being alive made them anomalous? Hell, being alive is the least anomalous part of our humanity. I thought you might've seen that, but then, things have changed. | „ |
~ Dr. Hadley's message to Emerson about the latter's experiments. |
Dr. Elliot Emerson is an antagonist within the SCP mythos. He is the overarching antagonist of SCP-1730 (also known as "What Happened to Site-13?"), which centers around the titular Site-13, a building belonging to the SCP Foundation from an alternate reality where they merged with the Global Occult Coalition.
Emerson acted as Site-13's Site Director prior to the disastrous events that would unfold within it and doom both him and everything in it.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is suspected to have framed Dr. Jack Bright for the murder of Dr. Light in order to get his promotion.
- Having authority as the Site Director, Emerson is responsible for his version of Site 13 torturing their anomalies with agonizing experiments rather than containing them safely as the Foundation normally does, and enjoys their suffering with no remorse.
- While he does respect his employees, he mainly respects the ones who agree with him or blindly follow his orders, while he mistreats anyone who defies him.
- He dissolved countless innocents into a pool of black sludge known as the "body pit".
- He ordered the head of the Ethics Committee executed for opposing him.
- He ordered the termination of an entire humanoid wing of contained anomalies, including a vampire boy named Elijah.
- When the THRESHER was sent to the mainstream SCP universe, the anomalies native to Emerson's universe were filled with hatred towards the Foundation because of Emerson's experiments.
- He traumatized his universe's version of Bobble the Clown (another PE) to the point of becoming a timid wreck, leading him to actually help the Foundation soldiers.
