Dr. Agness is the main antagonist of "Lythop Liberation", the second episode of Monkey Wrench. She is a criminal who pretended to be a L.A.W. official who hired the Monkey Wrench duo for her agenda.
She is voiced by Laila Berzins.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- She hunted down the Lythops to use their essence to make a near unstoppable superweapon.
- She hires the Monkey Wrench duo to gather up all of the Lythop under the pretense that they are saving them.
- She pretends to be an official from L.A.W. Science to convince the duo to trust her.
- After Shrike and Beebs manage to get all the Lythops together in a box, she breaks the box open and grinds up all of the lythops right in front of the duo and the Lythop leader who rode on Shrike's shoulder.
- She "thanks" the duo for bringing all the Lythops to her by trying to kill them using the weapon they unwittingly helped her make.
- She is shown sadism as she becomes interested in dissecting Shrike for the crystal in the back of his head upon noticing it.
- Her actions leave a permanent mark on the Lythop ruler who is now the last of his kind thanks to her.
- Her actions also had a heavy effect on the duo as they (Beebs especially) display guilt in having been a part of her plan in the next episode.
- Although she has a few comedic moments, they do not detract from the severity of her actions and instead only emphasize how much of a smug snake she is. Her crimes are portrayed seriously due to L.A.W. officers were horrified at her success of genocide.
