Dimentio is the main antagonist of the Mario fan webcomic, Heart of Chaos by Pianokantzart on Tumblr, based on both Super Paper Mario and The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Much like his original counterpart, he was one of several servants of Count Bleck who aided him in his plans of destroying all worlds. However, Dimentio had his own agenda and took the Chaos Heart for himself, intending to destroy all worlds and create new ones, remade in his own image.
Upon learning that Mr. L was most likely the "one in green" the Dark Prognosticus had previously prophesized about, predicting they would be the one who brought destruction to all worlds, Dimentio would manipulate him to his side. Dimentio would continuously lie to Mr. L and manipulate him, intending to use him to fulfill his cataclysmic goals. When Dimentio realizes that Mr. L had returned to being Luigi however, Dimentio transforms him into his vessel with the intent on taking complete control over him, desiring to use his body to become "the King of all Worlds."
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He aided Count Bleck in his omnicidal plans by using the Chaos Heart to destroy all worlds, though solely for his own sadistic plans unlike his other minions.
- Upon learning that a figure dressed in green would play a pivotal role in the prophecy on the end all worlds, he would take advantage over a brainwashed Luigi, manipulating Mr. L constantly into joining his side, feeding him lies about Count Bleck's plans and make him gain his trust by "saving" him from Bowser and Mario's party.
- He gives Luigi/Mr. L a small portion of his magic to aid him in his plans to usurp the Count. However, in reality, Dimentio had infected him with a floro sprout, which he would use to further control him for his plans.
- Along with Mr. L, he steals the Chaos Heart from Count Bleck after he was defeated, intending on using it to destroy all worlds and remake them in his own perfect image, and rule over them anew.
- When it seems that Mario starts getting through to Luigi, Dimentio has the floro sprout in Luigi's head grow, using it to make Mr. L attack his own brother.
- When Mario was vulnerable after Mr. L's assault, Dimentio traps him inside a magical glass box and nearly crushes him to death.
- After realizing Luigi was no longer brainwashed, Dimentio has the floro sprout grow across his entire body, putting him in excruciating pain before using the Chaos Heart to fully transform him into his vessel to become "the King of all Worlds".
- In order to fully take control over his body, Dimentio psychologically tortures Luigi inside his head by reminding him of his failures, how everything would be destroyed, and then feeds lies into his brain, claiming he amounts to nothing and Mario truthfully just sees his brother as an annoyance, telling him to "let go." This gives the heavy implication that Dimentio told Luigi to allow himself be consumed by Dimentio's power.
- He forces Luigi to watch as he nearly kills Mario, reminding him that since he was using him as a vessel, Luigi was killing his own brother. Dimentio sadistically taunts Luigi by telling him to sit back and enjoy the show before making an attempt to kill him.
- Just before he dies, he taunts Mario by pointing out that Luigi was incredibly intertwined with him due to their fusion, and by defeating him, Mario had affectively killed his own brother. While Luigi does end up being revived, Dimentio's actions indirectly resulted in his own death.
- To make matters worse, even after Luigi is revived, due to how intertwined he had also become with the Chaos Heart, he begins to become corrupted by its power as dark floral patterns form on his skin. If the Chaos Heart is not stopped, Luigi will forever become corrupted, thanks to Dimentio.
- As a final act of spite, he allows the Chaos Heart to continue its quest with destroying all worlds.
- While his actions remain about as bad as his original counterpart, his personality is arguably more cruel in the comic. Unlike his original counterpart, he mostly drops his more charismatic side after taking control over Luigi, taking clear sadistic enjoyment in the idea of destroying all worlds. He clearly enjoys taunting Luigi over his struggles in the past and lying to him about how he truly amounted to nothing, also taking pretty clear sadistic enjoyment in nearly making him kill Mario. If anything, it is pretty clear that Dimentio is just motivated by sheer sadism.
