Devilface (Real name unknown) is the main antagonist of the 2021 slasher film Bloody Summer Camp. He is a serial killer and mass murderer who hunts for victims around a summer camp in Virginia called Camp Trustfall.
Out of costume and while disguising as "Donnie Brahts", he is portrayed by Brendan Lynch. While masked, he is portrayed by Chris Rhydings, David Castro, and Jack Irrsinn.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He's implied to have been killing for years, as there are at least 13 missing persons posters shown strewn throughout the area near Camp Trustfall. One of which, is of an 8-year-old girl.
- Admittedly, the posters are never really explained and one of the missing people even share their name with a character in the movie, so it's not 100% certain if these are victims of Devilface or not.
- At the beginning of the film, he kills a couple by setting their tent on fire, which leaves them not only dead, but also horribly burned.
- Mass murders a convenience store killing three people, which involved:
- Crushing the head of the clerk.
- Snapping the neck of a customer who finds the clerk's body.
- Bludgeoning the customer's handicapped son with a frying pan.
- Stops for a female hitchhiker, only to then stab her in the throat with a crowbar.
- Afterwards, he uses the wheelchair to pose as the handicapped son, who's a counselor at Camp Trustfall.
- During his time posing as a counselor, he went on to kill 12 people at the camp, and while some of his kills are standard slasher fare, there are a couple that stand out as particularly sadistic:
- Zach's murder, which involved having his genitals crushed before being chopped in half with an axe.
- Hampton's murder, where Devilface shoved a hot curling iron into his mouth to burn his lips, tongue, and throat, making him choke on his own blood.
- Dousing Mickey in gasoline and setting her on fire with matches while watching her burn.
- Prior to his murder spree at Camp Trustfall, he faked his own death in order to cast suspicion off himself.
- Later, when Michael (one of the surviving counselors) finds him passed out, he wakes up and tells him that Tiffany and Todd are the killers. This leads to a confrontation where both Michael and Todd are both killed.
- Murders a total of 20 people; 18 directly and 2 via manipulation.
- Although, the police do eventually figure out that the fake "Donnie" was behind everything, it's too late, as he hitches a ride with Tiffany and her mom, and it's implied he killed them as well.
- While his past and motives are a mystery, his ability to manipulate people and deceive everyone into thinking he was a nice guy, shows that he's much more than a generic doomsday slasher villain.
