Demon King Demise is the main antagonist of Akira Himekawa's 2011 manga The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, a loose prequel to the video game of the same name.
The leader of the Demon Tribe, Demise has been trying to claw the power of the Triforce from Hylia, so that he can rule the world as a hellish wasteland. He was eventually sealed but vows to be freed much later.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Unleashes his armies to spread widespread destruction all across the land of Hylia, engulfing any and all Hylian settlements and kill everyone there.
- Overall seeks to reduce the Earth to a scorched wasteland for him to rule over for all of eternity, exterminating all Hylians in the process.
- Slaughters his way through entire Hylian armies.
- Reduces Link's hometown to a scorched wasteland.
- Upon mocking Link for his mortality and dismissing his courage, Demise personally kills him by slashing him on the torso, not even bothering to offer him some sort of Villainous Respect that the original version had.
- Once Hylia seals him, Demise plots to break free from his seal so that he can unleash more bloodshed onto the world.
