Death Gun is an antagonist of the Light Novel Sword Art Online: Phantom Bullet Arc consists of an avatar with collective identities of the players of GGO founded by the Shinkawa Brothers. Their modus operandi is using an imitative ability to kill the player in real-life within the VR by discovering the target's data, including their address. At least one member is in charge for the Death Gun GGO Avatar, while another serves as an executioner. Currently, Atsushi Kanamoto was hired as an additional assassin to help with the killing in the real world, as well as being the poison expert.

So far, only 2 of 3 known true identities of Death Gun were Pure Evil, barring Kyouji Shinkawa.
