Deag Ranak is a major antagonist in the 2020 video game Doom Eternal.
He is one of the three Hell Priests conducting the demonic invasion of Earth under the Khan Maykr's jurisdiction. He primarily commands the UAC following the death of Olivia Pierce.
He is voiced by Jason Spisak, who also voices Vulpes Inculta in Fallout: New Vegas.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He, alongside Deag Grav and Deag Nilox, betrayed Argent D'Nur, transforming most of it into a Maykr-governed dystopia.
- He made a deal with Olivia Pierce, allowing her to perform ritual sacrifices on other UAC scientists and transform them into demons.
- After Olivia's death and the initiation of the demonic invasion of Earth, he took over and corrupted the UAC, starting a satanist cult, authorising more demonic rituals and transformations, and manipulating the Phobos base into letting the demon's attack.
- He goads Doomguy with the fact that his arrival indirectly led to the demonic invasion.
- He graverobs and modifies the corpses of the Agaddon Hunters into the Doom Hunters, sending them to kill Doomguy.
- In his last moments, he cowardly offers "gifts" to Doomguy in a futile attempt to be spared.
