Daniel Harper is the main antagonist of the 1996 action film Eraser. He is the corrupt U.S. Undersecretary of Defense serving as the mastermind behind a scandal to sell rail-guns on the black market.
He was portrayed by the late Andy Romano.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Orchestrates a plot to sell rail-guns to the Russian terrorist Sergei Ivanovich Petrofsky for $52 million.
- Uses Robert Deguerin as a mole within WITSEC to eliminate any witnesses that could reveal his involvement in the plot.
- When Lee Cullen obtains two discs with evidence from the rail-gun plot, he steals the disc intended for the FBI.
- When Morehart informs him that reporter Claire Issacs spoke to Lee about the rail-gun plot, he orders her killed before destroying the disc he stole.
- Tries to use his power as Undersecretary of Defense to absolve Cyrez of their involvement in the rail-gun scandal.
- Threatens to kill Deguerin if he doesn't silence Lee and John Kruger.
