Dahlia Gillespie is the main antagonist of the Silent Hill franchise.
She is the leader of the powerful religious cult known as The Order, situated in the northeastern American town of Silent Hill. For the bulk of the first game, she appears to be a helpful character, helping Harry Mason, the game's protagonist, fight Alessa, the mysterious young woman Harry sees throughout the town (though it was for her own interests and goals rather than true altruism).
She was voiced by Liz Mamorsky in the first game and by Laurence Bouvard in Origins. She was also portrayed by Deborah Kara Unger in the films.

What Makes Her Pure Evil[]
- She cruelly tortured Alessa, her own daughter, during years so she would give birth to God by getting pregnant with its fetus.
- What is more worse is that she also burned the Gillespie house with her daughter in it as part of the cult's sacrificial ritual to nurture the god growing within Alessa, until the intervention and rescue of Travis Grady prevented it from happening.
- She was planning to destroy the whole world and create a new Earth.
- She warns Travis Grady at Cedar Grove Sanitarium to quit his quest in helping her daughter, and when he ignores her warnings: She appears outside Alchemilla Hospital and accuses Travis for setting Alessa free and allowing her to distort the town into the Otherworld.
- After Travis thwart Dahlia's ritual, and Alessa's soul was split into two (the other half being Cheryl Mason), Dahlia decided to use the summoning spell in order to lure Cheryl into Silent Hill seven years later, so that Harry Mason's adopted daughter can hear Alessa's tormented pain.
- She deceives Harry Mason by giving him the pyramid-shaped object called Flauros at Balkan Church in order to weaken and capture Alessa/Cheryl at Lakeside Amusement Park, to prevent her from repelling against the cult's god with the Seal of Metatron, which Dahlia also deceives Harry being referring the seal as the Mark of Samael.
- She recombines Alessa and Cheryl back together and transformed them into the Incubator, and canonically: After Michael Kaufmann thrown a large dose of Aglaophotis onto the Incubator, it expels and gave birth to the Incubus, which afterwards killed Dahlia with lighting and immolation as a form of karmic justice that she finally got what she deserved.
- She brainwashed Walter Sullivan into believing the Room 302 was his mother, in order for him to give birth to God through the 21 Sacraments ritual (the one which he also learned through Dahlia) he would put in practice, therefore making her the overarching antagonist of Silent Hill 4 as well, though indirectly.
