Cronal, also known by the names Blackhole and Shadowspawn, is a major antagonist in the Legends continuity of the Star Wars universe. He served as one of the Prophets of the Dark Side and one of the personal assassins of Emperor Palpatine, later becoming Director of Imperial Intelligence.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Along with the other Prophets of the Dark Side, he abused his daughter Sariss because her mere existence constituted a shocking offense to his nihilistic beliefs, allowing the other Prophets and himself to rape her regularly.
- He trained Emperor Palpatine's Inquisitor Jerec into the ways of the Dark Side of the Force.
- He experimented with Sith Alchemy on Picaroon C. Boodle and Gorc, mutating them beyond recognition and then handing them to Jerec to train them into Dark Jedi.
- He established the Church of the Dark Side with Emperor Sate Pestage in the wake of the Battle of Endor.
- He took over the mind of Nick Rostu with the Shadow Crown, enslaving him to be his puppet. He also used meltmassif stones to control the thoughts of his Pawns to fight to the death while he managed them behind the scenes.
- He became a warlord on Mindor and engaged in several terrorist and piracy acts, leading slaughters on several worlds of the New Republic.
- Due to his frail body, he tried to transfer his soul into Luke Skywalker's young body. Upon failing, he decided to do the same with Leia Organa's body instead, so he could destroy the New Republic from within.
- He tried to use advanced cybernetics to overthrow both the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic to create an "Empire of Art".

- So far, Cronal is the only Pure Evil villain in Star Wars to be a rapist.
