Our home gets so quiet these days... without children it feels so empty. We want to imbue our house with life once more. Fill it with the sounds of tiny footsteps. Whenever our house goes quiet again, it's merely a matter of going out and finding more. And more and more and more and more and...
~ The Creeps explaining their motivation.

The Creeps were a couple of minor villains from the X-Men comics who appeared in a special story concerning child safety, they were only briefly encountered but had sinister motives - the main antagonist of the story would be the X-Man (a human pedophile who pretended to be a superhero to lure in children). They later reappeared in Scream: Curse of Carnage #6, which revealed that they were insane serial killers who abducted children and held them hostage in the basement until they died to compensate for their own children having left.

What Makes Them Pure Evil?[]

  • In their first appearance, they try to lure in Jubilee into their car for presumably sinister reasons.
  • In their reappearance in Scream: Curse of Carnage #6, they are revealed to be serial killers that lured children inside their cars, gained their trust and then puts them in their basement to leave them to starve to death, having done this to at least five children.
  • While they claim they care for their missing son, with one of them stating that they spend their days looking for him and hoping they might find him, their relationship with their son is overall left ambiguous and considering they told that to one of their victims, it is uncertain said son even exists.
    • It is possible The Creeps may have killed their son, given that they say the basement where they lock their victims is his room and a young boy's skeleton is visible.
  • While Marvel has very high Heinous Standards, not only do The Creeps have a very limited amount of resources, they also have a pretty brutal murder method.
