Corrupt is a major antagonist of Absolution, acting as one of the overarching antagonists of Phase 3.
He is a demonic serial killer and tyrant who formerly assisted Lord X in his plans, only to then betray him and go on a killing spree across the multiverse. He is the sworn arch-nemesis of J. Robert Oppenheimer, reincarnated as Death.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Before the series began, he acted as X and MX's enforcer, mainly torturing their rivals when told.
- He eventually betrayed Lord X out of egotism and would even plot to kill him, although Lord X would deserve it.
- Attempted to offer Exetior a deal before trying to kill him for denying.
- Upon arriving in Sonic's world, he proceeded to kill Metal Sonic, Scratch, and Grounder.
- Tortured and enslaved Dr. Robotnik in front of Sage to torment her.
- Traveled to the Mushroom Kingdom and massacred an unknown number of people, including Luigi and Yoshi.
- Ripped Bowser apart to enslave his soul.
- It is revealed later that he killed and enslaved Mario and Peach offscreen.
- Upon hearing of Dela and her strength, he proceeded to abduct her newborn daughter to challenge her to a fight.
- Before his feud with Dela, he killed her daughter in front of her to enrage her, making him the only villain to kill an infant onscreen.
- Following his battle with Dela, he comes across Maria Robotnik (revived following Phase 2), he attempts to torturously kill her before Shadow saves her.
- In preparation for a final battle, Corrupt and his minions attempt to kill Dela and Death to prevent Death from killing Corrupt.
- Attempts one last time to enslave the multiverse before he and his forces battle Dela and her allies, which results in his defeat and his victims being revived, albeit traumatized.
- While he is a demonic entity, there is no evidence that he lacks a moral agency, especially since other EXE creatures have also shown an understanding of good and evil. Plus, he shows pure sadism in his kills.
- While he does have less confirmed kills then other villains, he stands out due to less resources and an onscreen child kill.
