~ Dr. Agony's introduction. |
Conrad Meer, also known as Dr. Agony, is a minor antagonist of the Captain America franchise, serving as the main antagonist of Captain America Comics issue #37's "The Chambers of Dr. Agony". He is an evil Nazi scientist who seeks to create a serum that will create an army of super soldiers for Adolf Hitler. To achieve this, he kidnaps innocents and tortures them to test the limits of human pain.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He wanted to create a serum that would supply Adolf Hitler with an army of super soldiers.
- He had kidnapped numerous people, took them to his torture chamber, and proceeded to torture them to death, sometimes for hours on end, using a variety of torture devices to make them suffer. He also started these experiments on animals, as shown when Tula, his pet panther, is immune to pain.
- He kidnapped Mr. Morley and tortures him by putting him on a spike rack, and making the spikes move up upon his flesh, and later attempted to the same to the young Bucky.
- He then trapped Captain America inside an agonizingly hot cage in order to wear him down and to test his resistance to heat.
