Conrad is the secondary antagonist of Skeleton Key, the third book in the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Bombed his school when he was a teenager as revenge for getting detention.
- He was an infamous terrorist for several years and was responsible for numerous deadly attacks, only stopping when one of his bombs went off prematurely and injured him.
- Assists General Sarov in his plan to cause a nuclear disaster that will decimate most of Europe in order to humiliate the Russian President, helping him build the nuclear bomb that he will use in the attack and eventually being the one to plant it at the scene.
- Murders the Salesman and his crew by blowing up their boat.
- Murders a sailor in order to kidnap Alex Rider.
- Tortures Alex Rider, the fourteen-year-old protagonist, for information by sending him through a crusher before trying to crush him even after he talks out of pure sadism.
- Shoots dead a security guard at Edinburgh Airport for trying to call in an incident involving Alex.
- When the Russian police arrive to stop Sarov's plan, he stays behind to brutally murder Alex through beating and choking rather than running away.
