Drygion: You're not as smart as your parents, Raissa... or as crafty as your grandmother. You're a little girl having a temper tantrum.
Raissa: Our lawyers will file cease and desist orders within the hour, Drygion.
Drygion: But you're hot. I like having pretty girls in my office. Want to be my personal intern?
Diana: Back off!
Drygion: Oh look. Raissa has a guard dog. How cute.

~ Drygion first introducing himself to Diana Prince and Raissa Diaz Cukierek while openly mocking them.

Chip Drygion is the main antagonist in the 2020 graphic novel Wonder Woman: Tempest Tossed, written by Laurie Halse Anderson.

He is the CEO of Drygion Corp. and a vicious human trafficker who targets children and teenagers, a majority of whom are girls, to be sold to hard labor or sex slavery. Recently, he set his eyes on Diana Prince and Raissa Diaz Cukierek when they started questioning the sudden disappearances of children and tried to settle a distribution at the park where he normally has his men abduct children.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • It has been stated that Drygion has committed a variety of crimes that revolve around bribery, tax evasion, money laundering, and pollution all over New York City, Queens. It's heavily implied that his pollution in other areas even extended to the drainage of the water network, which caused a cholera outbreak.
  • He runs a child trafficking operation where he has bribed garbage men into abducting countless children and teenagers, most of them being girls, from the streets or the neighborhood community to have them sold to his clients, whether it is hard labor, smuggling, or sex slavery in the worst scenario. He even has them drugged to ensure none of them escape and ultimately dismisses their lives as nothing but "products" from his point of view.
  • He bribed several police officers into derailing the investigations involving himself and his operations to avoid any sudden interference.
  • He planned on gentrifying an entire neighborhood community and their local park by replacing the area with built-up condominiums, uncaring of the people becoming homeless and further expanding poverty. Which he later prepared by hiring a construction crew to begin demolishing the park first.
  • He had his men recently abduct Kristen Liu and Celene, a babysitter, several nights ago, and it is implied that he had already sold them.
  • When Diana and Raissa planned on distributing a feeding program for the children, he had his workers disguised as health inspectors cease control over it and throw away an effort amount of sandwiches for the children. This resulted in Diana getting arrested when one of the "inspectors" aggressively held the hand of a child.
  • He begins harassing Raissa inappropriately and is tempted to offer her a position as his "personal intern," likely for sexual favors. When backed off by Diana, he threatened to "send flowers" to Raissa's grandmother, knowing where she lives, out of spite.
  • Has his men later abduct 24 more children to be sold, including Ayen (a little girl Diana befriended), and drugged in the process until Diana came to stop them in time.
  • He has one of his grunts beat Raissa and hold her at knife point, attempting to force Diana into working with him; otherwise, he'd still have Raissa killed, whether she or the former did anything else.
  • Upon escaping, he ditches his own employees to be arrested by the police.
  • He ultimately has zero redeeming qualities and comes off as a loathsome, arrogant, and sleazy slimeball whose evil acts were acknowledged by Diana's perspective on how far she viewed him to be.
  • Overall, he serves as a representation of the corrupt values of capitalism itself.
