Charon IV is the main antagonist of the 2018 screen-life horror film Unfriended: Dark Web.

He is a sadistic serial killer and human trafficker who has kidnapped and tortured numerous women, and torments Mattias and his friends when they discover his laptop.

He was portrayed by Douglas Tait.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• He's a serial killer who has tortured and murdered 18 women on camera, and livestreams the murders.
• He deliberately leaves his laptop behind so Mattias would find it and he could frame him for his crimes.
• He, along with the other Circle members, kills several of Mattias' friends in brutal ways to coerce him to return the laptop. They even went as far as to kill Damon, who was living in London.
• He forces Serena into having to choose between saving her dying mother or her girlfriend, and he kills them both when Serena refuses to choose.
• In the canon ending, he kills Mattias after successfully framing him for his crimes. And Charon IV himself gets away with his own crimes altogether.
• Unlike Laura Barns/Billie227, who only kills her former friends as an act of revenge and killing Blaire Lily who was ultimately responsible for her death, Charon IV is an actual human being who shows absolutely no remorse towards his victims, and is openly sadistic when he tortured women for his own gratification. Furthermore, he is not remorseful of his actions and his killings of Mattias and his friends were incredibly grisly, and the worst part is that he ultimately gets away with his actions thanks to The Circle, an organization he's a member of.
