Cell is the main antagonist of the fanfiction Dragon Ball Rise. He is an android created by Dr. Gero with the purpose of killing Goku. However, unlike the original, Gohan never achieved his Super Saiyan 2 transformation and got killed by Cell Juniors, which angers Goku into transforming into Super Saiyan 2 himself, and faces off against Cell instead.
What Makes Him Pure Evil[]
- He committed the same crimes like his canon counterpart up until he formed the Cell Games.
- He crushes Android 16's head to anger Gohan.
- After Gohan goes back into his base form and tearfully begs him to stop, Cell angrily calls him a weakling and orders his Cell Juniors to beat him to death.
- He blasted Piccolo and Trunks' bodies to prevent them from saving Gohan.
- He held down Goku and made him watch his own son die.
- He has no care for the Cell Juniors, as when they were killed by Goku, he stated that they served their purpose in angering Goku.
- Tries to kill Goku in his Super Saiyan 2 state.
- He tried to use Vegeta's pride to trick the latter into sparing him so they could have a good fight, and when that fails and Vegeta instead nearly kills him with Final Flash, he beams him in the back.
- He pummels Goku in their rematch, and after noticing his power dropping, he uses his Solar Kamehameha to have him and the entire Solar System destroyed.
- He indirectly killed Goku, since the latter had to use up all of his energy to defeat him.
