However, unlike most trickster villains whose series of tricks are often portrayed rather lightly and comically, a Pure Evil tricksters' actions are not portrayed lightly or played for humorous purposes, and are instead played in a darker, more dramatic, more frightening and more sinister light (if not creepy and scary).
