Invictus: Lord Commander... You were supposed to bring me, MOONCAKE!!!
Lord Commander: Sorry to inform you, but there's been a change in plan.
Invictus: You defied me!
Lord Commander: You swore to make me a Titan! Now, you've kept your word.
Invictus: This is not a promise kept. This is a rebellion… STARTED!!! Let me remind you who… I am…
~ Lord Commander vs. Invictus.
Alpha: An annihilated Earth would leave no populace. No one for me to rule.
Vangus: Can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
~ Alpha vs. Vangus.
Their victory was short lived. As suspicion and lust for power overcame those Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. The former allies turned on each other. The Deadly Alliance is no more.
~ Shujinko's narration between Quan Chi and Shang Tsung.

Pure Evil Villains who have actively opposed another villain who is also Pure Evil. This category is the polar opposite of Pure Good Vs. Pure Good and has the maximum amount of evil a conflict can possibly have. This can happen for a few reasons:

  1. Pure Evil vs. Oblivion: Two Pure Evils come into conflict because one of them has highly destructive goals that threaten the existence of the other Pure Evil. If the less destructive Pure Evil temporarily allies with the heroes in stopping the more destructive Pure Evil, they can be qualify as Necessary Evil and having a cooling-off period. Another one would be Slade who allied with the Teen Titans to stop the far more destructive Trigon. Vilgax who allied with Ben's team to stop Zs'Skayr. As well as Joker, who helped Batman fight The Batman Who Laughs several times.
  2. Headbutting Villains: Two Pure Evils have similar, but opposing or conflicting goals that lead them to come into conflict with one another, such as both seeking the same object. This one is considerably more rare than the first, as it is uncommon for two Pure Evils with similar resources and threat levels to be active at one time. Examples of this include Femto and Emperor Ganishka, Blackheart and his father Mephistopheles, and Evolt and Juzaburo Namba.
  3. Alliances: A Pure Evil is working for or with a villain (possibly yet another Pure Evil) or even a hero (Samuel Norton rescued Andy Dufresne from Bogs Diamond for selfish reasons) who opposes another Pure Evil for one of the other reasons. Examples of this would be Micah Bell, who fought against Colm O'Driscoll and Colonel Henry Favours while under the Van der Linde Gang.
  4. Betrayal: A Pure Evil betrays the other for money, power, survival, petty revenge or another selfish motive. An example of a revenge kill would be Vassago Casals selling out his guild, Laughing Coffin which also included Atsushi Kanamoto and Shouichi Shinkawa, even planning on usurping his boss Gabriel Miller, as well as Kenjaku betraying Mahito in order to seize his Cursed Technique for himself.
  5. Indifference: A Pure Evil simply doesn't care whether their victims are good or evil and will attack anyone regardless of it.
  6. Torture: Some Pure Evil bosses torture their minions who are also Pure Evil due to failure or disobedience. For example, Muzan Kibutsuji tortured Enmu due to his own sadism as well as finding his Lower Ranks as useless.

To see examples of Pure Evil villains go against non-PE villains, see Evil vs. Evil. To see examples of these conflicts and to see which PE villains got into conflict with each other, visit the Pure Evil vs. Pure Evil page.

All of these Pure Evil Vs. Pure Evil conflicts are out of pragmatism, hypocrisy, or self-sustaining reasons, because Pure Evils never have any honor or moral standards to stand by. Furthermore, unless the outcome of these conflicts is a draw or a victory, at least half of these villains would definitely not count as Karma Houdini.

NOTE: DO NOT add Pure Evils who have fought against Pure Evils that have not yet been approved.
