Pure Evils created by Hanna-Barbera Productions, an American animation studio founded by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera; active from 1957 to 2001.

While Hanna-Barbera is typically associated with lighthearted fair, there were a few works that delved into darker teritory; especially in their later years, bringing villains that are a far cry from the laughable likes of Dick Dastardly.

The studio was dissolved by Warner Bros. in 2001, with its franchises moving to Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios. Although William Hanna died on March 22, 2001; and Joseph Barbera died on December 18, 2006; later installments of Hanna-Barbera's franchises may still be added here.
