Genies are wish granting spirits or Demons of near omnipotent might. These are pure evil villains that have the ability to grant wishes, but can either grant them at a very high price or twist them to do harm to their victims.

This term can be used for exceptionally powerful sorcerers, supernatural entities, and even reality warping mutants and metahumans that have the power to grant wishes.
