~ Frye trying to kill Stanley Goodspeed |
Captain Frye is the main antagonist in the 1996 Michael Bay action film The Rock.
He is one of General Hummel's soldiers who went rogue and took hostages at Alcatraz. Unlike Hummel, however, and much like his accomplice Captain Darrow, Frye's motive is not a misguided, but genuine, sense of patriotism and honor, but pure and simple greed.
He was portrayed by Gregory Sporleder.
