Camerupt is a minor antagonist in the 2021-2023 fanfiction Pokémon: The Lost Child written by Ordeaux26, specifically being the overarching antagonist of the chapter "Ice Punch" and the main antagonist of the chapter "Eruption". Camerupt is a lone Pokémon as well as an extremely nihilistic one who seeks to destroy as much life as he can no matter the cost.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- In the past murdered Weavile's parents, causing her to become overly defensive to the point of getting several Pokémon killed, and Camerupt enjoy it so much that he went on to try and murder as many Pokémon as he could.
- Attacked a Volcano hosting a mining operation by The Brotherhood, killing every single Pokémon inside.
- Planned to use a force shield to block three villages and then erupt the Volcano killing thousands of Pokémon from it.
- After he was done Camerupt planned on moving on to the next Volcano.
- When Camerupt is defeated, as one last act of spite, he blows himself up using explosion collapsing the volcano and erupting it, which leads to the death of a few Pokémon.
- Unlike many of the other villains in the fic, Camerupt has absolutely no redeeming qualities at all. His only motive for his actions is the sheer thrill of killing as many Pokémon as he can, he is never presented in any sympathetic light at all and has no loved ones or anything like that.
- While the fic does have a few villains worse than him, Camerupt stands out due to how low his resources are and how minor of a villain he is. With his small resources, Camerupt nearly massacres three villages full of thousands of Pokémon out of nothing but his own sadistic thrills. Out of all of the minor one-shot villains, Camerupt easily stands out as the worst of them all.
