John "Caesar" McKenzie is the main antagonist of the 2013 video game Ride to Hell: Retribution. He is the leader of the Devil's Hand motorcycle gang seeking to murder the Conway family as payback for their patriarch, William "Toledo" Conway, refusing to let him run the Retribution gang as he wished.
He was voiced by Leer Leary.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Usurped his friend Toledo Conway as the leader of the Retribution gang due to wanting to run the gang as he wished.
- After rebranding the gang as the Devil's Hand, he challenged Toledo to a race, with the winner claiming control of the gang and Toledo's girlfriend.
- After winning the race and being snubbed of his reward by Toledo, he issued a kill order on everyone in the Conway family.
- Murdered Toledo and his girlfriend after finding them.
- Abused his daughter Ellie to the point where she allied herself with the Conways.
- Flooded numerous towns with drug traffickers, with various companies established as fronts for drug operations.
- Is indirectly responsible for Jake becoming a murderous serial killer and the crimes he commits in his mission to avenge the death of his brother Mikey.
- Is mentioned to have inflicted the gruesome scars on the face of his loyal lieutenant Pretty Boy.
- Murders a mortally wounded Mack to goad Jake into a trap with his henchman.
- Gloats about his actions to Jake, showing he has zero remorse for his crimes, before sending his goons to kill him.
- Shows zero loyalty to any of his underlings, not caring about the deaths of his members by the hundreds at Jake's hands.
