He was voiced by Jack Thompson.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- While he was a cook, he never showed any genuine concern for his friends' nourishment, causing many conflicts.
- When the crew got lost in a blizzard, he looked out only for his own safety. He baked a cake for himself using the ship's coal, draining the fuel.
- He kept thinking about vegetable pie and tried to eat Sam, stopped only by the arrival of the pudding.
- Upon learning that the pudding can regenerate himself, he became excited at the thought of never-ending pudding and kept it all to himself.
- After surviving a fall into the ocean, he enlisted an army of reptiles, took over a great portion of Australia, and forced most of the inhabitants to mine food for him.
- Upon hearing about Bill and Sam's arrival in Australia, Buncle send two pudding thieves, one of them being his nephew, under the threat of throwing them into the food mines.
- As time went by, and the pudding thieves have little success, Buncle grows impatient. His increasing hunger leads him to consider eating some of the slaves.
- He is a selfish and greedy individual concerned only with filling his stomach.
- He has no value for family, threatening his own nephew with slavery if the latter fails and having already sent his sister (the mother of said nephew) to the mines.
- While he has some comedic moments, he is still taken very seriously given his evil nature.
