Budzo is the main antagonist of the 2012 South African computer-animated film Zambezia (also known as Adventures in Zambezia).
A large, fat rock monitor, Budzo plans to get into the sacred bird city of Zambezia and eat all of the eggs inside. He made an earlier attack once, killing Kai's mother, but lost one of his claws. Seeking revenge, he kidnaps numerous weavers to craft him a bridge to cross Victoria Falls and takeover Zambezia.
He was voiced by Jim Cummings, who also voiced Dr. Robotnik in Sonic SatAM, Gillecomgain in Gargoyles, Steele in Balto, Rasputin's singing voice in Anastasia, Jacques in Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, Scar in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Fusilli in Courage the Cowardly Dog and Hadrian in Minecraft: Story Mode.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is the one responsible for killing Kai's mother and Tendai's wife.
- Kidnapping multiple weaver birds and forcing them to build a bridge, threatening to eat them should they ever stop or revolt.
- Plans on eating every egg in Zambezia just because he can, regardless of hunger. It is the animal equivalent of killing multiple unborn babies.
- He betrayed his maribou henchmen and unleashing a massive army of lizards to take their place, remarking that they were just as naive as the Zambezians.
- He has absolutely showed no care to his maribou henchmen, as they were just mere pawns to his plans.
- He attempts to kill Kai, Tendai, and the other birds in Zambezia just for the heck of his own entertainment.
