“ | My name is Buck and I'm here to f-ck. | „ |
~ Buck’s most famous quote. |
Buck is a minor antagonist of the 2003 film Kill Bill: Volume 1.
He was portrayed by Michael Bowen.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is a rapist who uses his position as a licensed nurse to rape female patients, as shown with Beatrix. And it's possible that he has done it to others as well.
- Raped Beatrix in particular for four years while she was in a coma.
- To make matters worse, Beatrix was pregnant when she was currently comatose, meaning he likely started raping her while she was pregnant.
- He also pimps Beatrix out to others as well, meaning he profits off of rape.
- While not the most heinous Kill Bill villain, or even Tarantinoverse villain for that matter, he manages to stand out due to his lack of resources along with minimal screen-time and for raping a comatose woman for four years straight. And his death was not played for sympathy either.
- Although Buck has never killed anyone at all, it does not disqualify his status as Pure Evil, because he rapes a comatose Beatrix (and likely other females who are also comatose) and even gets paid by his clients with equally-depraved needs. Even though Buck does tell his clients to not physically harm Beatrix and possibly other comatose patients, it is not because he cares for his patients. Rather, its because he doesn't want to risk losing both his medical license along with facing a substantial prison sentence if he's caught having his patients harmed by his clients. Additionally, even if his clients weren't caught, if other doctors notice their patients having any and all bodily harm inflicted upon then, Buck would've gotten a serious prison sentencing regardless (had he not been killed by Beatrix, of course).
