Bozo: Julie, does it count if I graze ‘em?

Julie: You got to destroy them. Bozo, I want them dead.

~ Julie telling Bozo he needs to kill the people he runs over for the points to count.

Bozo, Slug, Julie and Wanda are the overarching antagonists of the 1984 horror comedy The Toxic Avenger. They are a group of gym rats that when not spending time at the Tromaville health club, make a game out of running people over and photographing their corpses for fun, and are also the ones who are responsible for Melvin's transformation into The Toxic Avenger.

Bozo is portrayed by Gary Schneider, Slug is portrayed by Robert Prichard, Julie is portrayed by Cindy Manion and Wanda is portrayed by Jennifer Babtist.

What Makes Them Pure Evil?[]

In General[]

  • They regularly go on hit and run sprees where they brutally kill people by running them over with their car, with them even having a point system for it.
    • Even worse, it's established more points are given if the victim is a racial minority or child.
    • It's also shown via the point sheet that dogs and babies are also among their victims.
  • Despite their relationships with one another, none of them care for each other as their relationships don't go beyond mutual sadism and none of them care when any of them die.
  • Despite the high heinous standard of the Troma Shared Universe, they stand out due to their low resources and immense cruelty.

The Toxic Avenger[]

  • After Melvin accidentally dips his mop in the water they were sitting in, Bozo threatens to shove his mop down his throat.
  • When Melvin accidentally walks in on Slug and Wanda having sex, Wanda threatens to kill him with a knife if he doesn't leave.
  • During one of their outings, Bozo hits a kid called Skippy with their car after the four taunt him, even reversing over him to crush his head when they saw he was still moving.
    • Even worse, Julie and Wanda get out of the car to take pictures of his corpse, with Wanda being shown getting off to them later on in the film.
  • After being annoyed by him again, Julie makes a plan to publicly humiliate Melvin by tricking him into making out with a sheep while wearing a pink tutu, which the other three go along with.
    • This leads to the accident that caused him to become The Toxic Avenger, with none of the four caring whatsoever about this, with Slug and Wanda in particular laughing about it.
  • When Julie goes missing leading to Bozo and Slug not having access to her car, they decide to beat an elderly woman to death to steal her car so they can go on another killing spree.
  • When the pair see Toxie in the road, they attempt to kill him by running him over.
  • Overall, the four are so awful that Toxie is able to easily track them down due to his ability to sense evil.
