Hurry up and change into Mebius. Or the lives of those you love will be taken.
~ Bogarl as she sadistically urges Mebius to fight her

Bogarl, also known as Bogar and Bogal, is the secondary antagonist of Ultraman Mebius, serving as the main antagonist of the first ten episodes. She is a monster that eats other monsters and lifeforms, as well as call and summon them.

Biography[]

This section is too long. Visit here for more details: Bogarl's Synopsis on the Villains Wiki.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • Destroyed the entire Planet Arb and its inhabitants which leaving Hikari to be traumatized and causing him to be fused with the vengeful souls into become Hunter Knight Tsurugi, which, as revealed in Ultra Galaxy fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, partly inspired Ultraman Tregear's own fall into darkness.
  • Summoned Dinozole, Gudon, Birdon, Kelbim, Sadola, and Twin Tail to attack Earth and humanity, on top of sadistically devouring them.
  • While it can be said she only hunts to survive, she literally took pleasure in eating Kaiju and killing other innocent beings.
  • Attacked the ship that was carrying the C-Pin 929 that was intended as the primary food source for the Fantonians.
  • When Alien Fanton arrived to obtain the lost C-Pin 929, which can grow indefinitely, she decided to break the glass and make it overgrow so it can crush Earth out of spite to Mebius and Hikari, as well as so she could eat it for herself, which would lead to the Fantonians into starvation and famine.
  • In both episodes "A Game Changing Shot" and "The Two under the Deep Sea", she trapped Team GUYS to fight with Twin Tail, which she lures them later to sadistically devour them for her own pleasure. She evidently also merely is using that newborn Twin Tail as bait, letting it get killed by GUYS and Mebius for the sake of killing them.
  • Taunted Mebius and threatened to kill GUYS if he doesn't fight her.
  • In her last appearance when she was about to explode, she want to make Japan go down with her and it is said if not for both Ultraman Mebius and Hikari, she will explode and die, but destroying all of Japan.
    • Furthermore, she is able to do this because of how many monsters she has eaten, with the explosion becoming more powerful per monster eaten, showing that she eats these beings to not only satisfy her hunger, but also build her plan to destroy the world.
  • Instead of eating immediately, she keeps them struggling for a while for her sadistic enjoyment and then eat them, making again clear she enjoyed killing and hunting down Kaiju and innocent beings. The most notable example is the Sadolas, which Marina pointed out the pain they were in while being eaten.
    • Granted, while these monsters are not presented as innocent in their episodes, the fact of the matter is, Bogarl was the one who made the dormant Kaiju attack humans in the first place.
  • It can be said that she's angry at Hunter Knight Tsurugi for destroying the second Dinozole in Episode 5. While this is partially true, it's not because she cares about the Kaiju, she only used it as a tool for her own use.
  • Bogarl stands out in the Ultraman franchise due to her being the only few to be cannibalistic, which is rare and graphic for the standards.

Trivia[]

  • Only the Bogarl from the first 10 episodes can be and is classified as Pure Evil as the Lesser Bogarl doesn't have enough screen time or big heinous standard.
  • She's one of three Ultraman Pure Evil villains to be female, alongside Zogu, Giranbo, and Mother Sphere.
