Robert "Bobby" Masconi is the main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Jersey Breakdown". He is a corrupt prosecutor who is partnered with a sex trafficking ring, preys on numerous girls, and abuses his position to escape punishment.
He was portrayed by Bill Sage who also portrayed Coach Eiden in Mysterious Skin.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is a corrupt prosecutor who partners with club owner and sex trafficker, Perry Cannavaro in running his sex trafficking in where numerous underage girls, primarily runaways are trafficked through Cannavaro's clubs and forced into prostitution.
- He frequents Cannavaro's clubs so that he can sexually assault and rape young girls.
- He and Cannavaro blackmail Judge Daniel Doolan by having him sleep with twelve-year-old Miyako Nara and taking photos of it, so that he can have Doolan under his control.
- He has Doolan send numerous juvenile offenders to Knollwood Juvenile facility where he has them horribly mistreated, drugged, and abused physically and sexually. He receives kickback money for each juvenile that is sent to the facility and laundering the money through a fraud publicity firm under his mother-in-law's name.
- While drunk at Cannavaro's club, he gropes, assaults, and rapes Clare Wilson, an underage waitress working at the club.
- To keep Clare quiet, he sends her to Knollwood, where she is drugged and mistreated.
- He threatens to sell out Doolan after Doolan is questioned by the police, leading to Doolan committing suicide.
- He shows no true care for his wife as he uses her connections for his own goals and regularly cheats on her.
