Bob Underwood is a major antagonist in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. He is the abusive ex-husband of Nora Underwood and father of Ricky Underwood.

He is portrayed by actor/comedian Bryan Callen.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• He physically and sexually abused his wife Nora, and son Ricky.
• His abuse drove Nora to become a drug addict and eventually go to prison.
• Once out of prison, he started harassing Ricky again, telling him he will only leave if Ricky gives him his son once he's born.
• It's implied that he wants Ricky's son, his own grandson, so he can sell him to human traffickers to pay for his drug habit. There's also good reason to believe he's doing this as revenge towards Ricky for putting him in jail, despite the fact that Ricky was right to do so.
• He threatens Ricky's girlfriend Amy.
• He manipulates Amy's father into believing he is innocent and that Ricky is at fault.
• He harasses Ricky at a batting cage and provokes him into attacking him with a baseball bat.
