Black Beetle is a member of the Reach. He is a sadistic brute who worked to enforce Reach's agenda until he took over the Reach organization. He is the main antagonist of Young Justice: Invasion, the second season of Young Justice.
He was voiced by Kevin Grevioux.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He planted a bomb on a populated base operated by the Kroloteans, which destroyed their base and killed everyone on Malina Island except for Superman.
- Slowly killed the Appellaxian Golem by using a laser beam.
- Cconstantly referred to humans as "meat" and looked down on them.
- He engaged in a fight against the Team, where he is seen smashing Wonder Girl against a wall multiple times for his own pleasure.
- He is shown to be a brutal fighter who resorts to severe beatdowns against his enemies.
- Helped the Reach ambassador and scientist in facilitating the capture of people to be experimented on for the meta-gene.
- Decides that the Reach ambassador was incompetent at his job in his organization when there was a big conflict with the Light, the Team, and the Justice League. Black Beetle took control of the organization to plan and destroy Earth.
- Set in motion his plan to destroy Earth by setting off many super storms and natural disasters that resulted in multiple deaths and destruction across the planet.
- As a result of his actions, Wally West died stopping Black Beetle from destroying the Earth.
- He lacked any redeeming qualities and did not show any caring connections with his comrades. His relationship with them was pragmatic since he was as interested in making humans suffer so that he could benefit from it.

- Black Beetle is one of the four Young Justice villains to be Pure Evil, along with Ocean-Master, Frederick DeLamb and Granny Goodness.
