William "Billy" Lee is the main antagonist of the 2018 film Bad Times at the El Royale. He is the sadistic and charismatic leader of a depraved cult of murderous killers who preys on innocent people and lost souls to become his devoted followers. Things eventually come to a head in the climax of the movie, where he goes to the El Royale to retrieve Rose Summerspring when she's abducted by her sister Emily, desperate to save her, and plays cruel mind games with the other characters for nothing but his own amusement.
He was portrayed by Chris Hemsworth in his only pure evil role.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He and his cult hunted many innocent people to become his followers.
- He found and convinced Rose Summerspring to join his cult.
- He captured his cult members, along with Emily, when they tried to get away with money.
- He intended to take both money and a tape incriminating a deceased public figure.
- He forced Emily and Miles to play roulette, in which he would kill the loser.
- He murdered Emily when she lost.
- He attempted to make Darlene and Dock play roulette next.
- He wanted to kill Dock when he attacked him.
- He is responsible for the actions of Rose and his followers because he brainwashed them, and he is also responsible for the deaths of Rose and Miles, since they also result from his indoctrination and seduction of Rose.

- He is, so far, the only Pure Evil villain portrayed by Chris Hemsworth.
