Like I said, always knew I was a sociopath.
~ Beth to Liv Reynolds.
Beth: Don't take this the wrong way, but you guys are black.
Kym: Girl?!
Beth: And in horror, that's pretty much an insta-kill.
~ Beth.

Beth, also known as Ghostface, is the final antagonist of the Scream TV series, serving as the main antagonist of the third and final season. She is a serial killer who kills people she views as hypocrites and is also Jamal Elliot's former partner.

She was portrayed by Giorgia Whigham. While disguising her voice, she was voiced by Roger L. Jackson, who also voiced Stu Macher, Roman Bridger and Jill Roberts in the same franchise and Sel-Makor in Star Wars: The Old Republic. In-costume scenes as Ghostface were portrayed by William Scharpf.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • She decided to hunt down and terrorize Deion and the others because she wanted to prove herself that she's the ultimate serial killer but rationalized it with seeing them as hypocrites and trying to murder them in increasingly brutal and petty ways.
  • She murdered Shane for being a “coward” by injecting a syringe into his eye.
  • Burned Manny, an asthmatic guy, to death in a car while also making sure his best friend Kym watched.
  • Brutally killed Amir, despite him deeply caring and loving her by slicing him in half and proceeding to reveal herself to him in his dying moments to spite him.
  • Murdered a random cop by burning him alive.
  • Murdered her accomplice, Jamal, to prevent him from turning her in. By doing so, she also prevented him from being able to reconsider and maybe even switch sides.
  • After Marcus and Liv knocked her down, she tried to chop them with an axe prior to being shot to death by Kym out of sheer spite.
  • Unlike most Ghostfaces, Beth is shown to have no sympathetic qualities, as her love for Amir was completely fake on her part and she has no underlying tragedy nor reason for her crimes apart from her childish wish to prove herself she's the ultimate serial killer.
  • Though she has comedic moments, they do not detract her from her heinous standards and therefore she is still played seriously.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being a sociopath rather than mentally ill, Beth is the most insane Ghostface to date.
  • The last words Beth ever heard were Kym's statement about killers who come back for a second round. This statement indicates that despite manipulating Kym and the others into suspecting Liv, Kym always suspected Beth, and was well prepared to Beth's final attempt on Marcus and Liv's lives.
