Belzeus is a main antagonist of Japanese tokusatsu television series Chouseishin Gransazer. He is a Garban and a member of the Warp Monarch High Council who manipulated the rest of the intergalactic organization into helping him invade and attack the Earth by tricking them into believing that humanity were descended from Bosquito, while in reality that he wanted to conquer it to gain himself a foothold here for his own universal conquest.
He is voiced by late Takashi Taniguchi.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He was bent on conquering the entire universe for himself, which makes sense why he manipulated the Warp Monarch into attacking the Earth.
- By taking advantage of the ancient war from 400 million years, he manipulated the rest of Warp Monarch into thinking that humanity were descended from Bosquito race, all in order for himself to conquer the Earth to gain himself a foothold here for his own universal conquest.
- This also made him responsible for everything that has happened throughout the series, such as the Akelon taking the form of Karin Saeki to manipulate the rest of the Wind Tribe into fighting the Flame and Earth Tribes as a part of her Gransazer annihilation plan, the Impactors' attempted genocide on humanity with Logia taking control of the Guntras to ram it onto the sun which could destroy the Earth, the conflict between the Gransazers and the Impactors caused Lucia and Radia's deaths, and more aliens are coming to invade the Earth and causing rampage here.
- Though he give Logia another chance by upgrading his DaiLogian, he only did this to have him destroy the Crystal Slab (unaware it was swapped with a fake one by Akira) and later kill the Gransazers. When Logia refused and prefer to do things on his own way, Belzeus eventually betrayed him by taking away his DaiLogian and reveals his true nature before attempting to kill him in cold blood.
- Used DaiLogian to attack both Tenma and Mika and tried to kill them both, even when they're transformed and summoned the Gran Vehicles. However, it was later stopped after Logia sabotage his control over DaiLogian and take it back from him.
- Sent Luka to Earth and manipulate her into using her life force to bring back Bosquito by releasing it from being sealed, with his intention of increasing the Warp Monarch's Earth invasion even more. He also ordered Luka to exterminate the Gransazers and give all of her life to Bosquito, but when Luka tried to reasoned with him, he angrily electrocuted her for trying to defy his orders.
- This also makes him responsible for Bosquito's actions throughout the episodes 42 to 45 as he went on rampage through the village to the mountains where he massacred several people by draining their life forces.
- While preparing for Warp Monarch's invasion on earth for three days, he sent out one of the agents Brighton on Earth to find and kill Ran Saotome under the guise of searching for the descendant of Bosquito, before she could awakened her true power to communicate the will of Warp Monarch to prevent his plans from being exposed.
- Sending Gorgion to assassinate Ruby so they could kill Ran before she could reveal their true intentions to the Warp Monarch while he already thinking about his next plan. When Gorgion fails, he orders to send out Cabryon on Earth to annihilate the Gransazers and cover for him so he could succeed in killing Ruby.
- Even after Gorgion suicide bombs at Ruby and almost killed her, he never showed gratitude towards him over how he seemingly succeed in killing Ruby as he was only concerned of his desire of conquering the Earth and the entire universe and sadistically laughs as he believed that Sazer Tarious and Ruby were seemingly killed during the battle instead.
- When he arrived on Earth, he went to hunt down Ran and was about to kill her before she could awakened her true powers and get into contact with the Warp Monarch's Will to stop the Warp Monarch's invasion on Earth and revealing Belzeus' true intentions to them.
- After his plans were foiled and exposed to the rest of Warp Monarch, he desperately orders Cabryon to kill the Gransazers once and for all, but only for an empowered Daisazer to destroy Cabryon and the Garban Mothership once and for all.
- His defeat of being captured and brought to Warp Monarch to face his judgement is played for karmic and satisfaction, considering how much he deserved it for everything he has done to the Gransazers, several members of Warp Monarch like Lucia and Omega, and everyone on Earth.
- Not to mention that Logia is pretty much satisfied that he finally give Belzeus a taste of his own medicine by taking an advantage of this.
