What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
Background[]
- After being convinced by Martinet that if the host of the Trascendent Key was made through his own essence than Bahamut would obey him, Belzebuth kidnapped and painfully extracted the essence of the innocent Angel Nicole in order to create Amira, leaving her in a comatose state.
- What he did to her would eventually cause her death when Martinet frees her from the ice grave, she trapped her in, using this to psychologically break down Amira.
- Instructed Martinet to create false memories in Amira's head so that she would obey them without even realizing.
Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis[]
- Attacks a wounded Azazel that was attempting to return to Cocytus, the Demon's Capital, killing all the several angels that were chasing him and leaving him for dead.
- When the seal around Bahamut starts to weaken, he rallies up the other demons, proclaiming his intentions of annihilating the Gods.
- When Amira, Favaro Leone and Kaisar Lidfald arrives at Helheim under the false guide of Martinet, he reveals himself and traps the latter two in a forcefield, forcing them to watch as they psychologically break down Amira.
- Alongside Martinet, he torments Amira with the truth of her birth, forcing her to watch as Nicole, the woman she thought was her mother, dies in front of her.
- Once her desperation forces her to fuse with the Demon Key in Helheim to create the Trascendent Key needed to free Bahamut, Belzebuth coldly stabs Amira in the chest and traps her in a sphere of energy, not caring that she is the closest thing he has to a daughter.
- After arriving at Abos, he attempts to kill the hundreds of Angels that are trying to contain Bahamut, only being stopped at the last moment by the still alive Azazel.
- Makes Amira, now the Trascendent Key, fuse with Bahamut to reawaken it, a process that causes the girl to be lost forever and kills the hundreds of Angels that were trying to contain it.
- After the reawakening of Bahamut and the arrival of the Gods and Demons at Abos, he proclaims his intentions of exterminating all Gods and rule over demon kind, claiming that he alone stands at the top of everyone.
- Orders Bahamut to demonstrate its power by killing all of the armies of the Gods, only to be instead blasted away by the creature who doesn't obey him.
- While he was tricked by Martinet into believing that Bahamut would obey him and his last words are curses at him for lying to him, it is not treated with sympathy but rather as karmic retribution for what he did.
- While his supposed ally Martinet, better known as Gilles de Rais, is worse than him, Belzebuth manages to stand out thanks to his role in the reawakening of Bahamut, an event that caused millions of casualties, and to the fact that he lacks the resource that allowed Gilles to be as heinous as he was, his concoction that allows him to shapeshift and control other people's mind.
