Bask Om is the secondary antagonist of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He is the field commander of the Titans and second-in-command to Titans leader Jamitov Hymem, who uses his position to commit genocide against Spacenoids.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Allowed Operation Stardust to succeed so he and Jamitov could use it as justification to form the Titans.
- Gassed the entire population of 30 Bunch for protesting against the tyranny of the Titans.
- Arranging the death of Kamille's mother, an innocent civilian and one of the Titans' own scientists
- Ordering two colony gassings
- Supporting unethical and painful experiments to create Cyber-Newtypes by brainwashing and augmenting orphans from the One Year War
- Wantonly uses physical force to beat Federation officers and even Titans serving under him.
- Beyond having been a POW during the One Year War, the fact remains that his hatred of spacenoids is very excessive considering that he doesn't even try to much explain why he does so. Although revenge still doesn't justify his violence against them, Om is either a vindictive paranoiac who sees all spacenoids for being complicit to Zabi family atrocities or he is a xenophobe who kills spacenoids just because he can -- or both.
