I am Baron Strucker, the one who is about to reduce you to a helpless whining shell of a man! Are you ready??
~ Baron von Strucker to Nick Fury.

Baron Wolfgang von Strucker is a major antagonist of the Marvel Comics universe. He is the founder of the terrorist organization known as HYDRA, and the arch-enemy of Nick Fury.

What Makes him Pure Evil?[]

  • He's the founder of HYDRA and terrorist attacks across the globe in a bid to take over the world. As a result, he has claimed the lives of many, many innocent people.
  • During World War II, he committed several atrocities and war crimes.
  • While being the patriarch of the Von Strucker family, he shows no care for any of them: even thinking of thanking Norman Osborn for killing one of his sons. He didn't show any care when Wolverine killed his own wife as well.
  • After finding an alien race known as Gnobians fell into Earth, he manipulated them into handing him alien technology for him and his organization. He later completely wiped out the town of Gruenstadt so they won't reveal this.
  • Hold the world hostage with his Death's Head Spore Virus, even murdered his eldest son with the same virus that bonded with his son's body.
  • Planned to commit mass genocide on all races he considered lower than his after he conquers the world.
  • To show a lack of care for his own men and fellow members of Hydra, he blew up a base containing several thousand of his men just to kill a handful of Skrulls.
  • He murdered the son of Nick Fury in the Secret Warriors story.
  • Perfectly willing to join forces with people as despicable and sociopathic as him like Red Skull. He's responsible for putting Red Skull (a fellow pure evil villain) in cryostasis for years and release him after the second World War was over because he is an important asset to his plan.

Trivia[]

  • His MCU counterpart doesn't count as pure evil under the basis he is not heinous enough especially for the MCU's really high heinous standards.
