Arman Khurana, better known as Asav, is the main antagonist of the 2017 video game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
He is an Indian insurgency leader who hates the bloodline of the new kings that is rampant in his country. He desires to spark a civil war that will wipe out and return India to the way of the old kings with the Tusk of Ganesh.
He was voiced by Usman Ally in motion capture.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Manipulated outcasts into joining his cause and thinking that the current government was weak and corrupt.
- Funding his insurgency by trading ivory as well as selling poached tiger skin and priceless artifacts for weapons.
- Caused various war crimes during the civil war, which included his men abusing and making examples of civilians, while also causing massive amounts of destruction and very likely death.
- Holding Sam Drake against his will and having him tortured for information on finding the Tusk of Ganesh, along with the whereabouts of Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross.
- Using explosives to make a passage through a tunnel, which nearly resulted in the death of a mother elephant.
- Forcing Chloe to retrieve the tusk for him while using both Sam and Nadine as leverage, killing them slowly if she refuses.
- Trying to kill Sam, Nadine and Chloe by flooding the chamber with the intent for them to drown, when he and his men could have just finished them off painlessly with a bullet instead.
- Selling the tusk to Shoreline for a bomb.
- Attempting to use the bomb to destroy a city that was full of innocent people, including children, while denouncing them as peasants so he could cleanse the bloodline of the new king.
- Repeatedly trying to kill both Chloe and Nadine in the most brutal ways during his fights with them, while also insulting them by calling them a "special breed of mongrel".
- After knowing that Chloe and Nadine was intending on "taking" the bomb from him, Asav threateningly revealed that he'll just buy another one and detonate it to burn the city.
- Has proven to be a hypocrite. While he claims his cause is to preserve India's culture, it is subverted when he is willing to disregard it for his own self-gain (e.g. by selling the Tusk for a bomb to start a war).
- It is unknown what kind of history Asav had with Nadine, presumably a romantic one. If this is the case, he has demonstrated no affection for her as he has repeatedly tried to kill her throughout the campaign.
- One of Asav's insurgents revealed that he is married. But since Asav has never mentioned his wife in any way and has made misogynistic comments, it is likely that he doesn't actually care for her whatsoever.
